A good presence on Social Media (especially on Facebook) is desirable for every organization, and as it appears the same applies to certain Police Departments such as the Alliance (Alliance Police Department), which chose to request via Facebook that people stop calling the phone of a drug dealer because he had been arrested.
The message, as you can understand, has gone viral. Watch the shares and likes below…
The message on Facebook says:
PLEASE stop calling Steve Notman's mobile phone. He was arrested tonight by detectives … again … because he was selling crystal meth here at the Alliance. We have his phone and we are trying to read all your messages that request drugs.
We saw all his contacts (with his permission), but the calls and written messages are really annoying. First of all, his drugs ran out for tonight. Secondly, you don't need to call – he will come to you quite soon. Oh, and his ringtone is terrible! Thank you very much for your patience.
