If you use WhatsApp, you will know that your account contains images you don't need and general junk that consumes your phone's memory. Below we will see how you can intelligently delete all the useless content of the application in one go.

Siftr, an Indian startup founded by former Adobe employees, has released a smart Android app that can help you get rid of all the junk photos stored on your WhatsApp without any extra effort.
The app, Magic Cleaner, will scan the WhatsApp media folder and automatically detect all junk images, such as: screenshots, memes, video stills, cartoons, and images containing text. It will then give you the option to delete all detected images in one go.

How does it work?
Siftr has developed its own image recognition engine (something like Google's image recognition) that can analyze the content of an image to determine whether it is spam or not. This requires an Internet connection, because the image analysis is done via Siftr's servers and not locally on the mobile phone.
For those concerned about their privacy, we should mention that the app only uploads a small portion of the image hash and compares it to their own image database.
The app is free, but you can automatically delete a limited number of images each day.
