Microsoft has hit the road with a chatbot that speaks like a teenager. The company today launched Tay, a chatbot that will do everything it can to trick you into thinking you're talking to an 18-24 year old girl.
And it seems he's succeeding!
How? Microsoft uses a teenage tone, and a typing style typically used by teenagers, with text pauses, gestures, informal grammar, and lots of emoji.
Microsoft says that the more you chat with Tay, the smarter she gets, as she uses your personalized information (although you can delete your data).
