Google, in partnership with the US National Park Service, offers 360-degree images through Street View for 40 National Parks and cultural monuments in the United States.
In addition to Street View virtual tours , you will have online access to museums that exhibit historical artifacts and national treasures with full descriptions and accompanying history pamphlets.
Perhaps in the near future, vacations will take place behind a screen and a headset. However, for now, because airfare to the US is quite high, this virtual tour is the most economical solution to see the country's national parks. Virtual vacations are just two or three mouse clicks away.
