You don't need to worry that they might hack you and steal your data, because they can very easily steal your hard drives !! The American health insurance company Centene, which has almost 5 million customers across the country, announced that “lost” six hard drives from its database that contain personal information for 950,000 customers.
The hard drives contain names, addresses, dates of birth, social security numbers and health data of customers from microbiological tests between 2009 and 2015.
Centene says lost contain financial information.
Although the company is conducting an internal search to locate the missing data, it announced it will inform the affected customers and will offer free credit and health services.
