The Kali Linux Nethunter project is the first Open Source penetration testing platform for Nexus devices, and was created by a joint effort of Kali community member “BinkyBear” and Offensive Security.
Nethunter supports Wireless 802.11 frame injection, one-click MANA Evil Access Point setups, HID keyboard (Teensy like attacks), as well as BadUSB MITM attacks.
It is developed based on the Kali Linux distribution and contains its tools.
With Kali Linux Nethunter you can perform penetration testing on Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7, Nexus 9, Nexus 10 or OnePlus One.
There are free images to download. Just follow the instructions for installation and settings.
- 802.11 Wireless Injection and AP mode support on many USB wifi cards.
- USB HID Keyboard attacks possible , like the Teensy does .
- BadUSB MITM attack support. Connect your Nethunter to the victim's PC, and monitor all traffic.
- It contains the entire Kali Linux toolset.
- USB Y-cable support in Nethunter kernel – use the OTG cable even when charging your Nexus
- Software Defined Radio Support. Use Kali Nethunter with your HackRF and explore wireless radio space.
