Some Facebook users are already familiar with Facebook Notes, a feature that has been around for a while on the largest social network.
Facebook first launched Notes in an effort to give its members a space to share their writing. But the feature slowly faded away, and today few remember it.
But it seems the social network isn't giving up. The Notes feature has been upgraded, as Facebook has released a major update. It seems to want to hit the blogging platform, offering a Note that looks a lot like the well-known Blogger.
Facebook's Notes feature, according to TNW, will have a much more modern design than before with cleaner fonts and support for images, something you'd expect from a blogging platform.
The new platform is reportedly similar to Medium, a relatively new publishing platform that is becoming increasingly popular, especially among journalists and professionals.
We can't know how Facebook members will respond to the new version of Notes, but the social network's movement seems to be looking at the WordPress or Blogger platforms.
Of course, we should mention that to reach this level, the social network's developers will have to work overtime, since currently even the publishing framework has few tools.
The new version of Notes will be gradually released to all Facebook users, but it does not currently appear to have been released in Greece.
