Microsoft Garage has released several apps for Android and iOS over the past two months. Today, the company has struck again, releasing Send for iOS.

The new app is called Send , and according to the developers, it's designed for "in-and-out email." But Send is more than just a simple email client for iOS devices, as the app also offers instant messaging functionality.
“And while programs like text messaging and IM are great for short messages, you often don’t even have your colleague’s mobile phone number,” the Outlook team says in a blog post .
Essentially, with the new app, users will be able to receive and send text messages quickly, in addition to classic emails. So, instead of opening the email program to send a very short message, they will now be able to send the instant message using the new app.
This is also especially useful when you don't have the recipient's phone number, so you can use any of the instant messengers already available on the market.
With Microsoft's new app, you can send messages without having to fill out a subject line. You don't even have to follow any email logic in order to send a message.
Obviously, there will be no signatures or greetings in the new app as it has been developed with simplicity in mind. According to Microsoft, the main goal was to make conversations fast and immediate.
It's also worth noting that the app connects to Office 365 business to scan all your frequent and recent contacts.
Additionally, the app will not display all of your emails, only those that originated from it. Also, all messages comply with the user's email organization policies, as they are referred to as emails.
Basically, this means that all conversations in Send can be synced with Outlook, thus allowing users to continue the conversation from anywhere and with any platform.

You can now download the iOS app for free via the App Store. The app is fully compatible with all devices running iOS 8.0 or later.
According to Microsoft Garage, Send will be released soon for Android and Windows Phone.
