Samsung Galaxy S7 in September? A bit unbelievable, huh? While everyone is waiting for the release of Samsung's next Galaxy Note 5 that the Korean company usually presents during IFA, the Berlin trade fair in September, rumors have it that it is preparing to present another device.
According to rumors, things could be a little different this year, as the company, in addition to presenting the new phablet to be able to better compete with Apple's new iPhone 6s, will also release the Samsung Galaxy S7!
South Korean Newsis claims that according to confidential information it has, the company has already started development of the next Galaxy S7 (two to three months ahead of schedule) to be ready in the second half of 2015.
Samsung usually releases a Galaxy S* every year during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, which takes place in March, which is the first quarter of the year. So, if the rumor from South Korea proves true, it will be the first time that Samsung will release two different Galaxy S during the same year.
The reason for the early presentation of the Samsung Galaxy S7 is of course the eternal rival Apple and the company's upcoming iPhone 6s and 6S Plus.
Obviously, it's still too early to believe that Samsung will do something so unprecedented, but we have to pass on the rumor since it was published.
From what we know so far, it seems highly unlikely that Samsung will be ready in time to launch two major devices in the same year.
On the other hand, a refreshed Galaxy S7 could help the company compete with Apple. Or not?
