Big shakeups at Microsoft today, as CEO Satya Nadella just announced internal moves that will see former Nokia CEO and head of mobile devices and services Stephen Elop leave the company.
Elop will be followed by other executives who have already been confirmed to be leaving the company.
According to The Verge, another senior executive, Jo Harlow, who worked alongside Elop, is reportedly leaving the company.
Jo Harlow hasn't been with Microsoft for long. She joined the company last year after it acquired Nokia's devices and services division.
He was appointed head of Microsoft's phones division as a term of the acquisition deal and continued to work alongside Elop.
Harlow joined Nokia in 2003, but began working with Elop and reporting directly to him in 2011.
Her role at Microsoft will be taken over by Windows chief Terry Myerson, who will become the head of a new group called the Windows and Devices Group.
"The team will focus on enabling a more personal computing experience powered by the Windows ecosystem. This new team will combine the engineering efforts of the current Operating Systems Group and the Microsoft Devices Group," said CEO Satya Nadella in today's announcement.
So far, we don't know any more information about Harlow's fate, that is, whether she will continue at Microsoft or leave completely.
