It's been two years since Google announced the first Chromebook Pixel. Today, it announced its successor. The new Chromebook Pixel has the same overall design as the first Pixel but brings a number of internal improvements, while also lowering the price.Chromebook Pixel

Some of the most important improvements of the new Chromebook Pixel are two USB Type-C ports (Apple's new MacBook has only one), an Intel Core i5 processor with 8GB of RAM and a 32GB SSD. Battery life reaches 12 hours with fast charging support. Its display is touch-sensitive with a 12.85 3:2 aspect ration and 2560x1700pixel (239 ppi). It has two USB 3.0 ports, an SD card slot, a wide-angle 720p HD camera, and weighs 3.3 kg.

The Verge, in a review of the new Chromebook, gave it a score of 8.3 out of 10. The new Chromebook Pixel can be yours for $999, while the LS version (which stands for Ludicrous Speed) costs $1,299. The LS model has a Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 64GB internal hard drive. LTE models are no longer available.

The new Chromebook Pixel is available from the also new and improved Google Store. However, the Google Store is not available in Greece, so the purchase of the Chromebook Pixelcan only be made if you have someone you know in the US.
