Samsung's day today at Mobile World Congress also saw the unveiling of a new version of the Gear VR headset, which will be compatible with the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.
The new Gear VR Innovator Edition is 15 percent lighter than the older version, has USB compatibility for "extended use time," and the company has apparently redesigned the base to be more comfortable for the wearer.
Samsung also mentions the much improved performance and better graphics that come with the new device, mainly thanks to the improvements that the also new Galaxy S6.
The company hasn't given the new Gear VR headseta different name (it used the same one), but the device itself shows the company's commitment to better virtual reality headsets.
