Google is getting ready to get rid of Flash altogether. Continuing its efforts, the company announced that it will make ads on the Web less intrusive. Starting today, the company will automatically convert ads developed in Flash to HTML5.
Ads will be automatically converted to HTML5 when loaded through AdWords, AdWords Editor, or some third-party tools.
While not all ads can be converted, the change will still affect a large portion of new ad campaigns.
Google company last month began displaying YouTube in HTML5 on all devices.
