The news we published on 20.02.2015 about the new YouTube service is a fact. Google has just released the new YouTube kids.
The company said on its official blog that it has been working with parents for a year to create a family-friendly app. The new app is designed to be very simple for children.
The video options on the platform are very limited and only those that Google deems “suitable for the whole family” are allowed
Of course, you can simply search for the content you are looking for, and it also supports voice search, in case your child cannot write yet.
The YouTube Kids app includes parental control features, which include:
Timer that allows you to set the time your children will use.
Sound settings to turn off background music and sound effects so you can sleep peacefully.
Ability to turn off search to limit videos to those on the home screen.
Feedback section that allows parents to write how they see the app and its content.
The app, according to rumors, was supposed to be released only for Android devices, but today Google has made it available for both platforms: iOS and Android.
You can try out the new service app from Google Play or the App Store depending on your device. The company also announced that it will soon be available for the Kurio and nabi kids tablet platforms.
