Tears: The codes that hackers can't break (yet)

Hackers can't copy your tears! Still... Tears keep our eyes moist. They even have the power to "heal" us from intense psychological stress. Can they also protect our personal data on the Internet ?

Mayson threw the weight of his research onto the corneal shirt and less onto the iris. This is, in any case, a rule for optical scanners, given that hackers cannot copy the unique way they change the eyes each time they cry.

The scanner has the ability to recognize a face, as each corneal retina possesses a kind of unique «map». The Meison code, however, hopes to make life much more difficult for hackers. No matter how they try to use the victim's data from the last time they logged into their account, the system will constantly kick them out. Why? Because just as eyes change every time they cry, the system also expects the data to change slightly each time.

«The surface of the retina is a wet grace to tears, so our data change from minute to minute», explains Meisson to the Financial Times. «Consequently, each data set recorded by each eye presents real microscopic variations», adds.

The goal of the experts now is to test the new technology on smartphones, where it could be used to secure possible payments or access to other services, such as email. If Main is right and the «unique biometric pin» proves effective, then it is not excluded that it could be integrated even into automatic withdrawal machines or security doors.
