Google today unveiled a new search feature it calls Structured Snippets .The new feature will display information that the company pulls from data tables on other websites.

The search engine gradually adds new information through its Knowledge Graph database. This feature will add more information below the text snippets that typically appear in a search query. For example, if the search term is a Nikon camera model, the results will show additional technical characteristics such as sensor resolution and weight:
Google uses machine learning to separate tables of useful information from those used for formatting. The system then ranks the facts based on relevance and quality to decide which results to show.
