A new mobile phone at a very affordable price is being promoted by the software and high-tech products company Mozilla, which also maintains the well-known Firefox search engine.

Mozilla's smartphone, which is currently available in India for just $33 (€25), is called the Intex Cloud FX. It will also be available through online retailer Snapdeal. According to the BBC and international telecoms industry analysts, the Indian market is the fastest growing in terms of smartphone penetration and sales.
In a statement, the Mozilla group explained the following: “With the launch of the Intex Cloud FX, we aim to massively motivate consumers to acquire a “smart” mobile phone, spending the same amount of money they would have on a conventional mobile device.” The new “smart” mobile phone is expected to enter Western markets in the near future, where it will compete with the more expensive mobile phones from Samsung and Apple and other manufacturers.
