Microsoft has already confirmed that it is preparing a new update for Windows 8.1, but no one knows for sure whether the company plans to call the update Windows 8.1 Update 2 or Windows 8.2. Sources familiar with the matter say that a preview version is already available.
Windows 8.1 Update 2 is currently in preview stage, which means that the development of the project has almost finished.
A photo leaked today by myce.com proves the above and prepares us for Microsoft's new product, Windows 8.1 Update 2, which could be released in mid-2014. Previous reports "pointed" to August or September as possible months for the release of the next update.
The second updated version of Windows 8.1 will bring back the Start menu, a feature that has been repeatedly requested by users since Windows 8 was released.
Certainly we should note that nothing has been officially confirmed by the company so far.
