One of the most controversial games ever to hit the App Store, Flappy Bird, is back. Its creator Dong Nguyen, who pulled it because the game's popularity was destroying his peace and the peace of those who played it, told CNBC that Flappy Bird will return but it will be less addictive this time and that it will have a multiplayer mode.

For those who do not know its history: the game became very popular and many acquired the obsession of the highest score. Some got addicted and left their lives behind to devote themselves to the game. Seeing the damage the game had caused (the fights gave and took and everyone blamed the game's creator), he decided to remove it from the App Store.
Kelly Evans of CNBC wrote on Twitter, “Dong Nguyen: Flappy Bird is coming back. With Multiplayer in August.”

The network then said that Flappy Bird 2 would be less addictive, which could also mean it would be less enjoyable, and therefore less profitable for Nguyen. However, after the huge earnings he made from the first game (50,000 per day), he shouldn't be in any financial trouble.
