Intel Corporation today introduced the Intel Education 2-in-1, the first 2-in-1 reference design ever created for the education industry. The Intel Education 2-in-1 has the flexibility and portability of a tablet, along with the performance and productivity of a laptop, giving students the best of both worlds in one device.
With the push of a single button, the Intel Education 2-in-1 transforms from a laptop that students can use to create assignments and presentations, to a tablet that students can use during a field trip or to collect data for a science project.
A learning tool designed for students, the Intel Education 2-in-1 features both a front-facing and rear-facing camera to promote content creation and scientific exploration. Dual-docking mode allows students to either have their tablet screen facing them while using the keyboard, or facing their classmates for easier collaboration.
The machine also includes easy-to-use tools, such as a snap-on magnifying glass and temperature sensor, that work with Intel Education software to enable experiments that inspire student curiosity and promote inquiry.
Designed with students in mind, the first ever Education 2-in-1 reference design features a reinforced and durable design, withstanding drops from heights of up to 70 cm, while also offering water and dust resistance, promoting learning anywhere, anytime.
