The Chinese company Huawei, known for its quality products and low prices, seems to be preparing to hit the phabletswith its new 7-inch model. The device's features show that it follows its well-known formula, offering a quad-core phablet at the low price of €399.

Specifically, the Media Pad X1 will come with the quad-core HiSilicon 910 processor, clocked at 1.6GHz, will have 2GB of memory and 16GB of storage. Its screen resolution will be 1920×1200, a particularly positive feature considering its relatively small diagonal. Regarding the model's battery life, the battery will have a capacity of 5000mAh, so we will be able to enjoy our device for many hours.
Beyond the above, the X1 will also include phone capabilities for those who have headphones or don’t mind putting the bulky tablet on their ear. Rumors say the product will be available with a smart cover that leaves a small part of the screen free, just like Samsung’s S View technology. Whether the smart cover and LTE capabilities supported by the model will be provided at the initial – and especially low – cost of €399 remains to be proven.
