Oral-B, wanting to protect the inside of your mouth, is launching a new toothbrush, the Oral-B Smartseries, which connects via Bluetooth to your smartphone, giving instructions for better oral hygiene.
It is an electric, smart toothbrush that will support Bluetooth 4.0 and will be able to communicate with your smartphone and display data for your oral hygiene in it with the help of a special application.
The dentists recommend brushing your teeth for two minutes each time, but most people don't do it. So that you develop the habit of proper brushing, the toothbrush will “communicate” with your phone via Bluetooth 4.0 and will display a countdown on your phone to ensure you keep the correct brushing time. At specific intervals, the brush will vibrate to notify you that you should move on to the next part of your mouth.
The application can also be programmed by a dentist for better results.
As for its availability on the market, it is expected in June, at a price that, as the company states, will be close to €219. It should be noted that Oral-B's "smart" toothbrush is not a novelty, since a while ago the corresponding device from Kolibree.
