On Tuesday, Pakistani hacker h4x0r Hussy hacked and defaced the official forum of the openSUSE Linux distro. The attacker claims to have developed a vBulletin zero-day that allows him to access the forum database.

The hacker told  The Hacker News that the zero-day vulnerability is his. The vulnerability allegedly allows him to read and write any file on the forum server without administrator rights. Of course, he did not provide further details.

Meanwhile, openSUSE has shut down its forums. Representatives for the organization say they made this decision because there is no solution or fix from vBulletin to protect themselves. vBulletin has not commented on the matter.

Let's see what information the hacker has obtained according to the photo (see image at the beginning of the text) that was leaked by him. It seems that he has gained access to the nickname, the encrypted password and the email of each user.
