YouTube is finally available to Nintendo 3DS users, nearly two years after the device was released. The YouTube app runs on both screens of the Nintendo 3DS, with the top screen showing the video and the bottom screen displaying the touch controls.
It's also possible to control navigation with the buttons, while scrolling is done via the directional pad. Alternatively, you can use a stylus to control everything.
The tool is available through the 3DS eShop for users in North America and Europe.
Of course, given that Nintendo is a video game console mostly used by children aged 7+, we don't know how useful it is for them to be able to easily access YouTube and watch videos, perhaps inappropriate for their age.
