We all know Microsoft's habits. The company has long claimed, even launching harsh attacks on Google, that it really cares about protecting the privacy of its users. Today, Bloomberg reports in a publication that the European Union has contacted Microsoft about some privacy violations that arose while they were reviewing its services, Outlook.comand the Bing.
European Union regulators led by Gerard Lommel are asking Microsoft to improve its user protection policies.
Microsoft spokesperson Robin Koch stated: "Our strong commitment to privacy is a key differentiator for Microsoft so we will always carefully consider any feedback we receive."
Bloomberg did not say what exactly led the EU to request changes to Microsoft.
