Anonymous hackers have leaked over 3,700 documents allegedly stolen from the Directorate for Southeastern Europe, the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). The attack is part of an operation dubbed “OpGoldenDawn.”
“We all know how bad the situation in Greece is today, alongside the economic chaos the government allowed the Nazis from Golden Dawn to sabotage the integrity of the principles of freedom and ethics of the whole country”, say the hackers.
“Today we deliver a first blow with a series of leaks, to reveal the truth about the government's involvement in Greece in the espionage conspiracy with the help of ENISA and OASE.”
Hacktivists urge people to make copies of classified, confidential documents posted on cyberguerrilla.org to ensure they are not lost to the government.
They claim, of course, that they will provide the public with more documents.
