Google is undoubtedly a company that manages to constantly be in the spotlight, one way or another. Further proof of this is the company's latest addition to its Australian offices.
The company has placed two decommissioned train cars in its office building, which it has converted into meeting rooms. It all started when an employee suggested taking the cars. Of course, his suggestion was a joke, and although it was initially rejected, the Google team eventually decided to take them.
Three months ago, Paul Cowan, Google employee who came up with the idea, was called into the office and told that Google had indeed decided it wanted the wagons in its offices.
They went to a yard, selected two wagons, and with the help of a crane, they passed them into Google's offices on the second floor through a window.
