The Slo-mo (slow motion – slow motion) feature from Apple is available only with the powerful iPhone 5s devices and below iOS7, but a developer thought to fill the gap and ease your jealousy for you who have the previous iPhone device, creating an app that offers a similar function on iPhone 5 phones.
SlowCam costs $ 1.99 / € 1.79 and is an app that allows you to “record video in slow motion in real time”, according to the people at Lucky Clan.
Users simply need to press and hold the slow motion button while recording to capture video either at 60 FPS (on iPhone 5) or 120 FPS (for iPhone 5s).
The app states that it requires and supports “all devices with iOS 7.” It is fully compatible, i.e., with iPhone 5 devices that have upgraded their operating system and run iOS7.
The features include smooth transition from normal speed to slow motion, zoom in-out (iPhone 5 +), the ability to set Focus / Exposure together or separately, background selection and many more.
