After reports that Microsoft was planning to make Skype 8.1 the default communication app in the new Windows 8.1 operating system, the RTM version finally comes with a pre-installed copy of the app.
Microsoft has already stated that it plans to retire Windows Live Messenger and has urged consumers to switch applications by suggesting Skype.
After the first leaks of Windows 8.1, it seemed that Microsoft is now ready to give Skype by default to all users who install the latest version of its operating system.
