The Crytek team says that four of its websites have been compromised by hackers and all users should change their passwords as soon as possible in order to avoid further problems.
The affected websites, according to Blues News , are: Crytek.com, Mycryengine.com, Crydev.net and MyCrysis.com.
Suspicious unknown activity was observed by the Crytek team and the websites were taken down to ensure that no user information was stolen. This means that some information was already stolen.
Crytek says that all passwords should be changed as soon as possible and that no financial transaction data has been compromised to date.
The Crytek team is currently working on the new Ryse: Son of Rome for Microsoft's new consoles and is also creating free-to-play titles for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
