You know how you can tell which of your YouTube tabs is playing music when you have a bunch open? Well, the company did something about that.
YouTube has added a very simple new feature to its website, which is quite useful, namely an icon in your browser tabs.
The icon only appears when the video is playing, so it's very easy to identify the tab responsible for the music playing on your computer, even if your browser is full of YouTube tabs.
If the video is paused, then the icon disappears, but if it was sluggish it still appears.
The icon is, of course, the black arrow-triangle pointing to the right that is known throughout the world as “play.” It disappears once the video ends.
Now, life would be easier if the noisy ads displayed by most sites were reported in the same way.
