Indonesian artist Ichwan Noor has a unique technique. Some aluminum pieces and some carefully crafted polyester pieces compose objects that remind us of something. In the photo below, a compressed sphere looks like a brand new 1953 Volkswagen Beetle that has somehow become a shiny spherical mass. 
The artist exhibited his creations at the Art Basel show, which recently took place in Hong Kong. Noor's particular artwork is starting to spread around the world. The Jakarta-based artist is hard to find, Mashable , who has tried to speak with him.
According to the Hong Kong exhibition center, Noor created this piece by "converting, merging and shaping" a vintage 1953 Volkswagen Beetle.
