The Genius Bar is a bit small and the floor would never have been approved by Steve Jobs, but if you ever find yourself in Kabul and feel a thirst for Apple gadgets, then this unofficial Apple Store of Afghanistan is the only place that exists.

While Apple is busy conquering the world with its Apple Stores, some countries like Afghanistan (unfortunately including us) still don’t have an official Apple Store, so some decided to open their own.

The unofficial Apple Store of Afghanistan sells about five to six iPhones a day to financially comfortable Afghans, who, as it ’ seems, have been touched by the Apple fashion. Most products are purchased through distributors from Dubai, and demand is so high that the owners are considering opening a second one.

However, the fact that business is going well at the unofficial Apple Store does not mean that Apple will embrace it any time soon. The store manager sent photos of the shop to Apple by email when it opened, but she still hasn't responded to him.
