Microsoft officially released a new version of Skype for Windows just a few hours ago. The new version comes with several bug fixes that are supposed to make the application more stable and reliable.
While Microsoft confirmed that it is not a major and important release, it is only aimed at maintaining the application since it fixes a number of problems that have been reported in previous versions.
For example, the sharing pop-up on the start screen was not accessible in older versions of Skype, while tooltips were not displayed correctly in the screen settings.
Additionally, the update supposedly fixes a bug that caused the app to freeze when someone tried to open a gallery containing many photos.
