The various ISIS hackers and their collaborators, who run active hacking websites and shape them for ISIS propaganda, are merging together.
Telegram, which is the preferred medium for ISIS hackers, is used to merge these different hacking groups into a terrifying hacking command center.
Messages were posted on official ISIS social media accounts and Telegram reveals that the new mega-hacking unit will be called the United Cyber Caliphate (UCC). The UCC is made up of the Cyber Caliphate Army (CCA), ISIS’s main hacking unit, as well as other groups that support it, such as the Sons Caliphate Army (SCA) and Kalacnikov.TN (KTN).
The formation of the new hacking unit comes as a continuation of another such merger, in January 2016, when AnonGhost and CCA merged to take on the Western interests in cyberspace. The hacking group AnonGhost, which was a subsidiary of Anonymous, distanced itself from them after the announcement of #OpISIS by the Anonymous, following the murder of 11 people at the headquarters of Charlie Hebdo in Paris by ISIS.
Now the great merger of ISIS hackers is a particular concern for the United States, which is their main enemy. After the big merger, the UCC hackers claimed they have hacked the US State Department and leaked information about 50 staff members, created a massive misleading campaign against Australian websites, forged the Russian Federal Customs Service and leaked information about 18,000 employees of the Saudi Ministry of Defense and Aviation.
The group also ran a second campaign using “#KillCrusaders” and continued campaign against Christians, defacing the website of a church in Michigan last week, leaving an ISIS propaganda message.
The biggest data breach by the UCC occurred last week when the team published the names and addresses of 3.602 of the «most important citizens of #NewYork and #Brooklyn», asking ISIS supporters to use the information and carry out attacks.
