While Microsoft's complete lack of transparency regarding Windows 10 is concerning, the company is doing everything it can to keep users safe!

On Tuesday, Terry Myerson, Executive Vice President of Microsoft's Windows and Devices Group, announced a new service for businesses called Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection.

According to the blog post, this new service will help businesses detect, investigate, and respond to advanced attacks on their networks. Rather than creating entirely new software, Microsoft has simply expanded the Windows Defender program included in Windows 10 with an additional feature if a security breach has already occurred.
The key to this development is that Microsoft has finally admitted that not all attacks can be prevented. If someone with the necessary skills wants to and tries hard enough to get into your system, the chances are good that they will eventually find a way! But now once someone is in your system you have the tools you need to track them down, find out who they are, and stop them!
