A group of students in Britain invented a revolutionary new condom that changes color when it comes into contact with harmful sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), such as chlamydia and syphilis.

The condom comes with an integrated indicator that changes the condom's material and gives it a different color each time it finds contaminated bacteria that are related to some STD.
The students who invented this protective device won the prestigious TeenTech award for the best health innovation. Daanyal Ali, Muaz Nawaz and Chirag Shah, from the Isaac Newton Academy in Ilford, Essex “hide” behind this innovation.
