Beware! A Link Is Being Released That Crashes & Reboots Your iPhone
A new prank website is circulating on Twitter, Facebook, and other social media platforms that could crash your iPhone or iPad.
If you happen to come across a link to crashsafari.com, we advise you not to open it on your iPhone, iPad, or even Mac. Doing so will crash the Safari application, possibly forcing your Apple device to restart.
Currently, users are spreading the link to CrashSafari.com via Twitter using a URL shortener, and users are tricked into clicking on it without knowing it.

The prank website (crashsafari.com) creates a ridiculously long, growing string of characters and then overloads this text string into the address bar of Apple's default browser, Safari.
The Crash Safari site code is very simple and includes:
A Header Title that you will never actually see because the browser crashes.
A "small piece" of JavaScript, which causes Safari to freeze.
Safari desperately tries to process the long string, causing the iPhone to overheat, causing it to crash and reboot.
The same thing happens on iPads that also have the Safari browser. However, even Android devices running Chrome overheat when visiting the website in question.
