David Lee Niles, a 72-year-old man, was suffering from cancer when he disappeared on October 11, 2006, after leaving a local pub. He was last seen walking outside Jake's Bar in Byron Township.
Then, no trace of him was found – until Brian Houseman spotted the roof of a car next to the banks of a pond while decorating the Christmas tree outside the Cook Funeral Home.
And what's the strange thing about this?
The image of the car was visible all these years because of the image taken by the Google Maps!
The police were called to the scene to retrieve the car, which contained the remains of the unfortunate man, Mr. Niles.
The image below shows Mr. Nile's car as captured by the Google Map satellite:

Scott Hathaway, Mr. Niles' son-in-law, said:
For us today, a search of so many years has come to an end. Why God waited nine years, I have no idea. But we are happy. It is very good that we will finally offer him a home.
