Photos… followed by music!
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. And if that picture is accompanied by… music, how many words does that imply? A new trend on social media wants users to accompany the photos they share with their friends with the corresponding musical piece of their choice.
The application created by 33-year-old Briton Justin Cooke is called "Tunepics".
This particular application allows users to choose a song and "attach" it to the photo they share with their friends.
This new British social networking site has already begun to attract many young people, at a rate of 100,000 new registrations per week.
Among the celebrities who have already distinguished themselves are the famous chef Jamie Oliver, the singer Natalie Imbruglia and the boss of Virgin, Richard Branson.
According to a report by the Daily Mail, model Cara Delevingne already has 23,000 followers on Tunepics, followed by Rihanna with 22,000 fans.
