Every beginning on a Social Network has to do with the user's profile and its completion. In the case of LinkedIn and as it is a professional Social Network, it is very important that a user's profile is complete, serious and utilizes all existing functions.
First impressions always play a big role in whether someone continues to read the rest of a user's profile, so the profile photo should be as professional as possible and clearly show the user's face. Also, the headline, or the header under the user's name, should be relevant to the profession or field in which the user works and of course contain the appropriate keywords.
You should not forget that LinkedIn allows you to create a profile in different languages, including Greek, which may be useful for searches both from Greece and abroad.
It is important for a LinkedIn profile to have connections to other Social Networks and of course to have contact information. An interested employer must be able to contact the user via email or phone.
A professional Social Network could not fail to contain information about the professional experience and education of a user. The user can add as many professions as he has held in the past and of course his role in each profession, in the most detailed way to be clear to someone who does not know him. We should not forget the volunteer activities, which are displayed separately on LinkedIn and are considered important for every employer, as well as the addition of projects to create a portfolio, by inserting images, videos, presentations.
Finally, Endorsements and Recommendations. Each user can and does add skills and abilities to their profile, which other users confirm through Endorsements, making them more reliable. If 50 users have given a + to a user's skill, then it is more likely that the user is truly saying that they possess that specific skill. As for Recommendations, these are recommendations that one user gives to another. If every employer of a user has rewarded them for their work, this means that they are a good professional and a future employer will prefer them for an interview.
