According to allegations by Indian officials, Huawei has allegedly hacked the systems of India's state-owned telecom company BSNL.

As Reuters reports, BSNL has already started investigating the case, but there is no further information available at this time, other than the fact that a mobile phone base station was targeted by the attackers.

Huawei representatives denied the allegations, noting that “the company’s India branch continues to work with customers and the government to address any network security issues that may arise in technical and business operations.”

The company has often been accused of conducting espionage on behalf of the Chinese government, but has always denied any involvement in such activities.
