Google has started rolling out Glasses to more people. The new device comes with some tweaks and upgrades. Existing customers can nominate up to three friends to join the exclusive Explorer program.
Lots of new users of the glasses means lots of confused customers. For a $1,500 device (€1,110), new and inexperienced users are not the best idea.
Until now, Mountain View had mandated that customers must pick up the device in person. This allowed the company to test the device with prospective users and explain any issues.
But now that Google is shipping the devices to new owners, the search giant has put together a new help program for would-be explorers. A Google representative will call users to show them a lot of the device's capabilities in about 45 minutes.
