Allegations of possible involvement of a politician, hackers and a businessman in the attack against PlanetGreece!
A strange story has been taking place in recent weeks, as SecNews is able to learn, according to information that has been brought to its attention and we are transmitting it with all reservations.
The informative, independent website PlanetGreece , which from time to time presents very important revelations on various current affairs, appears to have been targeted by "strange" extremists for an unknown reason that is currently being investigated by the website's competent administrators.
It therefore appears, according to the information that has been brought to our attention, that removal requests to Google (possibly from multiple/fake addresses) were used to restrict access to the website from the blogspot platform.
Anyone wishing to visit the website today receives the following message, indicating that the website has content unsuitable for minors (!) [which is of course not the case]:
It is worth mentioning that, as we were informed in our question to the website's management team, no one ever contacted the website about the offending content or a specific post, nor did the Google management team before restricting access. Therefore, it remained a mystery how this was accomplished.
However, with newer information shared with SecNews by the PlanetGreece team during the report, it seems that the story has much more depth since a cyberattack was also carried out on the website's Facebook account in an almost identical manner. The Facebook page has of course now returned to normal!!!
The contribution of the “Hacker” hired to carry out the attack seems to be significant, as they mention in their article, with his full details having been brought to their attention. SecNews has NOT been informed of the alias of the “hacker” so far.

It is obvious that some malicious people chose to target the website because of its often caustic articles, since it is known that this particular page does not "give up" and judges in its own way bad writings, no matter where they come from.
