As TechCrunch reports, recent changes made to Apple's App Store search algorithm are leading to more relevant results.

Many users often searched Google first to find something they wanted in the iOS App Store because it was easier and faster. If this sounds familiar to you, then we have good news because Apple is working hard to improve the situation.
It seems that Apple recently tweaked its search algorithm to bring more accurate and relevant results. Specifically, as TechCrunch reports, the search results you'll see will now take into account a wider range of keywords (both contextual and partial, for example) beyond the keywords that app developers provide.
For the first time, the App Store is ranking its apps according to keywords that are not in the app title or “keyword slot.”.
Also, if you search for a specific app, competing apps will appear in the search results, another change that will make the store more useful.
The only thing that's not clear is whether these changes will be applied to the iOS App Store and Mac as TechCrunch is mainly referring to iOS. However, nothing has changed in terms of the layout and presentation of results, so if you're unhappy with that, you'll be disappointed.
Have you noticed any change in your search results and if so, is this change for the better or not?
