Xiaomi is expected to release a new mobile phone this month. The budget smartphone Mi 4c , according to the latest information, will be released on September 24 and will be available on October 3 .
Initially the Chinese mobile manufacturing company plans to launch only 100,000 devices, but it is rumored that another subsequent batch will follow later in October.
A report coming to light via WCCFTec claims that Xiaomi will not release just one version of the Mi4c but two!
One of these two new models will have 2GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. But Xiaomi is preparing, as we mentioned, another version for more demanding customers, which will have 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory. The 3GB of this model is actually a lot for an upper-range mobile, especially if you consider that even the high-end Sony Xperis Z5 Premium with a 4K display was released with the same capacity in its RAM.
The first version Mi4c with 2GB RAM is expected to be priced at $230 / €204, while the upgraded version will cost about an additional $75 / €67.
Soon there will be more details about the exact price on September 24 when the company officially launches the new phone.
Until then, in case you don't remember, the Mi4c will feature a decent touchscreen display that will support full HD (1080p) resolution and 438ppi (pixels per inch).
The smartphone will also feature a processor inside, along with photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash in full HD, and video recording. On the front, there's another 5MP camera for video calling, etc.
Finally, the phone supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB 2.0, GPS & AGPS. It is backed by a battery and will ship with Android 5.1 Lollipop.
