Did you send an SMS and regret it? There is a margin for correction! – Did you write the message in a hurry, and in that haste you pressed send, but regretted it? Did the idea of being able to undo this action finally cross your mind?

Did you send an SMS and regret it? There is room for correction!

However, there may be a small way to prevent the message you regret from being sent. If you have an iPhone, follow the step-by-step process below:

Step 1: Go to messages.

Step 2: Write an SMS and press 'send'. You will notice that the iPhone at the top says 'Sending' since the device takes a few seconds to send the message and fill the green (if it is a conventional SMS) or blue (if it is an iMessage) bar.

Step 3: To stop the sending process, you need to turn your iPhone into 'Airplane Mode'. The difference is that this needs to be done very quickly.

How to do this? While the bar is filling up, place your finger on the left, next to the iPhone's home button and slide it up to bring the iPhone's Control Center to the surface, and tap on the airplane icon to cut off all contact with the mobile network. That's it. You've just stopped sending the SMS!

Step 4: Go back to messages by dragging down the 'Control Center' pop-up menu. You will see that the message was not sent, as the exclamation mark "Not Delivered" appears.

You can then delete the message.

A conventional SMS takes about 2.3 seconds to send. So you have 1 second to regret it and another to act with lightning speed!
