Research on eBay and PayPal for robo-calls

PayPalPaypal & eBay: The New York Attorney General and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) have requested details regarding their policies on-calls, which will be made to users starting next week.

After the new agreements with users, these new policies will come into effect and the separation of the two companies PayPal and e-bay will begin.

The two companies will first be confronted by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, who is already convinced that they are acting contrary to consumer law.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) sent a public letter to Pay Pal, informing it that the new agreement may violate the law if the prescribed procedures are not followed. However, the well-known company, in its response to the FFC, informed that each user has the option to opt-out whenever he wishes. However, this option does not make the company's policies legal. eBay has not made any official response for the time being, but is expected to do so soon.

In order for robo-calls to be considered legal , the two companies would have to obtain consent from their users in writing along with the phone number at which the companies can contact them for telemarketing calls .

It is also not yet clear whether the two companies will use these policies to collect debts or to promote services and products as usual.
