eBay and PayPal split
EVAY and PayPal will soon become two separate companies. This means that they will not belong to the same group of companies, EVAY said in a statement.
The separation of the companies will not change the goal of both companies to offer a pleasant and hassle-free service, the announcement emphasizes. The two companies will continue to work together to offer the same level of service and fraud protection in transactions.
PayPal and EVAY say they will work closely in the areas of:
Protection against potential fraud and to protect customer support accounts
Processing payments, offering transportation services and other related matters.
PayPal and EVAY renewed the terms of the agreement with their customers, as well as the terms of personal privacy.
