With Phound!,a new free app for Android, everyone has the ability to protect their mobile devices and personal data.

The name of the application comes from the combination of the words "phone" and "hound". Its purpose is to help quickly locate lost devices and protect the valuable information stored on them.
Kaspersky Lab ’s Phound ! enables remote control of devices via the “My Kaspersky” portal. If a device is lost or stolen, users can block its operation, thus preventing unauthorized access to it. They can also locate the device via GPS, GSM network or Wi-Fi network. To make searching for the device even easier, users can take photos with its front camera or display a message on the device’s screen.
If the phone or tablet is lost at home or in the office, the user can locate it with the help of the “Alarm” function. By activating this function, the device produces a loud sound, which continues until a security code is entered. As a last resort, he can use Phound! to remove all his personal data from the device and erase the SD card remotely, including contacts, messages, photos, etc. He can also perform a permanent reset of the device, if necessary.
The application is available through Google Play, for Android devices.
